The COVID-19 Accessible Materials for People with Disabilities project is funded by the CDC Foundation using funds from its donors and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides technical assistance. Led by the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI) at Georgia Tech, this project focuses on delivering accessible messages of critical health importance about COVID-19 to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. The target audiences for translations of COVID-19 guidance are individuals who have limited mobility or are blind, deaf or have limited literacy skills resulting from a variety of factors. The alternative formats include simplified text documents, videos in American Sign Language (ASL), and both digital and embossed braille.

Please continue to share information about this project, the website, and all of these accessible materials. Your outreach is needed to ensure that our communities are receiving this important, timely information.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the project in general, please contact training@gatfl.gatech.edu.
