We LOVE our volunteers!

If you’re looking to partner and serve an organization that always puts the needs of its consumers and community first, you belong here. We provide one-on-one volunteer orientation and tailor job assignments to the strengths and motivation of each person. The orientation provides an overview of Independent Living Philosophy and PACE services.

Volunteer jobs vary from being on the Board of Directors to preparing mailings, depending on your interest and expertise. If you enjoy writing, you could contribute e-newsletter stories and blog posts. If you just like helping people, maybe you would want to be a peer counselor or reader for someone with a visual impairment.

University students seeking internship opportunities are also welcome. Interns majoring in social work, special education, and healthcare-related fields have all been a part of the PACE team over the years.
